It is well known that Croatia boasts a very rich and diverse natural scenery and various picturesque towns. That being said, coastal towns are often the ones most well known, particularly their summer offer. THE FORESTS OF GORSKI KOTAR

What place is better to experience nature’s awakening than in Gorski Kotar. Scientists have proven that spending time in nature brings many benefits for physical and mental health, and the thick forests and fresh air bring you just the perfect dose of peace for quality relaxation. And if you become to crave some action during your holiday, you can check out some of the really unique and protected natural gems: Risnjak National Park, strictly protected reserves of Bijele Stijene and Samarske Stijene, park-forests Japlenški Vrh and Golubinjak. We particularly recommend Lokvarka Cave, one of the most beautiful karst caves in Croatia.

Plitvice Lakes National Park is without doubt one of the most attractive places in Croatia. We’ve already talked about Rijeka – this famous harbour city has all the advantages of a dynamic urban centre, while having the perfect position nearby numerous excursion destinations in Kvarner. Fun guaranteed! Rijeka has something to offer to absolutely everyone. And when you are done exploring all the knacks and crannies of this city, it is time to meet its surrounding – Kvarner. Apart from excursions to nearby islands (Krk, Cres, Lošinj, Rab), we highly recommend trying out some of the cycling routes.
