This summer’s lineup in the Pula Arena is a diverse and exciting mix of music genres and generations. From pop sensations like Dua Lipa and Avril Lavigne to iconic bands such as Simple Minds and Duran Duran, and from rock legends like Lenny Kravitz to classical crossover artists like Andrea Bocelli, the Arena is set for a series of unforgettable performances.

Dua Lipa (June 5): This British-Albanian artist blends elements of pop, dance, and R&B in her music and rose to fame with hits like “New Rules” and “IDGAF.” With three Grammys under her belt, she has solidified her status as a leading figure in contemporary pop. Fans attending her concert in the Arena can expect a night full of energetic performances and infectious beats.

The Smile (June 15): The Smile is a relatively new addition to the music scene, formed by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood along with Tom Skinner (Sons of Kemet). Despite their brief time on the scene, their success and the fame of its members have garnered significant interest. Attendees can expect a mix of experimental rock, electronic, and atmospheric sounds with thought-provoking lyrics.

Avril Lavigne (June 17): This Canadian artist emerged on the music scene in the early 2000s with her pop-rock sound infused with punk. Hits like “Complicated” and “Sk8er Boi” quickly made her a global sensation. Known for her rebellious attitude and distinctive style, Lavigne has maintained a loyal fan base throughout her career. Lenny Kravitz (July 28): Lenny Kravitz has been rocking the scene since the late 80s, known for his voice, guitar skills, and eclectic style. Fans in Pula can expect a mix of his classic hits and newer material from his album “Blue Electric Light,” all delivered with Kravitz’s unique signature.

Duran Duran (July 30): Originating from Birmingham, England, Duran Duran emerged in the early 80s as pioneers of the new wave and synth-pop movements. With catchy melodies, stylish image, and innovative music videos, the band became an international sensation. The audience in the Arena can look forward to a nostalgic journey filled with all the hits that made Duran Duran one of the biggest bands of the 80s, as well as new material from their album “Danse Macabre.”

Jason Derulo (August 7): Alongside Dua Lipa, Jason Derulo represents the younger musical forces. Known for his catchy pop hits and dance moves, Derulo has topped the charts with singles like “Whatcha Say,” “Talk Dirty,” and “Want to Want Me,” making him a well-known name in the world of pop music.

Andrea Bocelli (August 30 and 31): Andrea Bocelli is one of the most famous classical crossover artists of all time, known for his stunning operatic voice and heartfelt performances. Blind since childhood, Bocelli has overcome numerous obstacles to become one of the best-selling solo artists in music history. The Arena will host two nights filled with emotional and rich interpretations of classical, pop, and traditional Italian songs, all with a charitable note as one euro from each ticket will be donated to education for disadvantaged children in Haiti.
